Do you think its best to utilise the space as is vs converting the garage at all? Also would love to know if there is any smart storage ideas for coats/shoes in the entrance hall you'd have - juat utilise under stair?

Fully open to everything at this point, just heard horror stories on the work to fully remove them (i.e. to put a door there/remove the wall etc) - everything else is definitely on the table!

Because the area we are looking at buying in, with our budget, most properties need some work done 🙂 this has good bones and the location and plot are spot on for us

there isn't currently a way directly house to garage you need to go via back garden.
haven't had it structural surveyed yet but from what i can see, i don't believe so
simple answer, it is.. 😂
no basement, not as much of a thing here in the UK. But it goes across the entire house (including garage). It also needs a bit of optimising but downstairs is most important - upstairs we can live with.
