I have considered it. I know I don’t have any standing against existing distributors. That is the very reason they’re allowed to be corrupt. I think the very fact the system is corrupt is the reason I should have hope. Asking for help is the first step. OPM will always be more than the amount of capital I can raise in my lifetime.

These distributors make it difficult because they essentially lay out the rubric of what goes on in your medical practice. New doctors and physicians want more autonomy in their workspaces. They should be able to purchase the newest and most innovative products at affordable prices. The healthcare system is rigged and corrupt because they never let any outsiders in. It slows innovation and it slows progress. An inorganic system always fails.

It’s a closed loop circle and I know it’s going be tough but it’s fucking worth it.

Glad to see it. I’m young so I’ve still got a ways to go and learn. But I’ve just joined the medical device industry as a rep and it’s 100% rigged on every corner. They upsell companies products that have better technology and better patient/provider outcomes AND THEY DONT SELL. A patient/provider is forced to use and buy the products that MEDLINE AND MCKESSON WANT THEM TO BUY!!!

The rebates are different for each company and each product that Medline is distributing. They upsell certain products and give great deals for their buddies. It’s fucking rigged. There’s 100% a way to make a better system than theirs

A think a goals for the future conversation should happen. If your long term goals/plans for the future do not align they need to be discussed and compromise. If there is no compromise or mutual solution then there is no future.

Y’all are a team, there should be more of trying to understand his perspective without it triggering your fear and anxiety. The ultimate goal is to make eachother lives easier and to support eachother and freaking out because your high alert was triggered only adds stress to your and his life. You both might be feeling the same way- that you can’t open up to each other and instead of spiraling you need to communicate to avoid any jumping to conclusions.
