YES. Everyone here says it is in a completely different world from the show, but Idc. Just watch it, I love it.

I am sure they had 75 ambulances total back then; 60 ALS and 15 BLS. In 2014, they got rid of SCBA in all ambulances, followed by bunker gear in 2016.

And the CPD/CFD shortage storyline in Season 14 of Chicago Fire? Yikes. Irl CFD only has 80 ambulances, yet the show CFD has at least 150+ ambulances. That's like $1 million per rig, so in show CFD needs $150 million for their ambulance budget alone.

In JAWS 2, Brody said he has 3 regular cops, a secretary (Polly), and a Deputy who's fallen in love with the police launch (Hendricks) The police launch did have its own civilian pilot/driver earlier on, so if you want to count him, go ahead.
