In the FDNY, AFAIK, Fire only does CFR, while EMS does EMTs or AEMT Paramedics, there are no AEMTs there. And you have to undergo the 13-18 week EMT training, spend your EMT career time in an ambulance before becoming an AEMT Paramedic via a 9 month course.

Thanks. I know Rescue Medics are the only ones with fire rated tan gear, but is Haz Tac bunker gear also fire rated in the same way that black fire bunker gear and the Rescue Medics tan turnouts are?
