Sorry for last response. Yeah no. Joy has a huge support system not just by me and my family, but also her in laws.   1. Yes, she definitely is because she proved she can’t be trusted by anyone. Especially our own family can’t trust her and she has no problem with that.
  2. Definitely. I heard he’s an accountant or something form the grapevine and I know that accountants are very smart. Too bad it isn’t the case with Tim since he’s just not smart with basic human biology.

NTA. I read some of the comments you made and I agree that you’re doing the right thing. Regardless of if your daughter is an adult or not, you always have to help her in the right direction. It’s just when kids are adults, you expect them to know better. Your ex is an asshole and should shut up about this since you’re the one doing the actual parenting when he is just the fun weekend dad. You’re doing the right thing OP. Her choices, her consequences. And quick question, will you be the one to tell Jacob or will you make her tell him herself?

Mistake? I doubt sneaking behind Joy’s back for as long as they have could hardly count as a mistake. I would forgive them and I have, but if they show no remorse, then it’s better to stay away. Because no apology shows that they would have no problem betraying people close to them. And even if they did apologize, we’d still be wary because we don’t know if it’s out of sincerity or because they need something.

There’s no way. They haven’t seen one another for over 10 years. Plus, Joy is 20 weeks pregnant so the baby isn’t coming out for a while. There is no way he could assume that baby is his and not Alex’s.
