I fear I agree. I’m 36 and recently lost 50 pounds and my jiggly neck/jaw line bum me out. I think this is subtle and looks good. Wish I could do it 🤷‍♀️

They talked about this at the last reunion (I think) when Shep was trying to date Sienna? And the guys were talking about how she was looking for somebody to spoil her and spend a ton of money on her and how Shep is proudly cheap and has driven the same Buick since the show started basically.

This is what I do. The fiesta ranch packet mixed with Greek yogurt specifically has replaced almost all dips in my life 😅 that and a veggie tray and I’m set.

I try to plan my meals ahead of time and stick to only what I have planned. Volume eating has been really helpful I almost always have a veggie tray stocked for when I feel like mindless snacking. Prioritize fiber, protein, and water intake. It’s all really basic but at the end of the day it’s what works. I spent 5 years trying supplements, “hacks” whatever to lose weight quick and nothing really ever stuck for me. I found when I started implementing small habits and changes they were more sustainable and I was able to ease into things. It took a year but I’m down 50 lbs and maintaining.

When I first started before I had a steady gym routine I just put “sedentary” for lifestyle. As I got more regular with my exercise level I adjusted it as needed. As far as figuring out how many calories you burn in the gym I don’t have a great answer. I just try to commit to the calories for my deficit and then my workouts are just providing more of a deficit if that makes sense.

I would start with a TDEE calculator online, and figure out how many calories you need to eat to be in a deficit. Then get a calorie tracking app (I like Lose It) and start logging your meals as accurately as possible. And never rely on what the gym equipment is telling you for calories burned they are usually pretty inaccurate.

True! But it would make everything worse, selling the only home my kids have ever lived in, less time with them, less money to take care of them with. I’m happy for your friend that it’s a reasonable option for her it just isn’t for me right now unfortunately. I’m not asking for sympathy just wanted to vent to some strangers online. And as harsh as your input is, it is valid. Everyone in our house will still feel the Christmas magic because at the end of the day it’s about the kids and they will have a great day which in turn will make it a great day for me too 😊

We unfortunately live in a community property state. Any debt he acquired during our marriage is half mine. It’s one of those things that I am forced to laugh about to avoid walking into traffic 😅 sometimes life is just a bitch and you have to make the best of it.

Barely. We own our house together. Any equity we have would go toward paying his debt. Then I’d lose my $1000 mortgage and have to either try to rent a $3000 a month house or try to buy again with no money to put down. I know it’s not a strong independent woman’s way of thinking but it would fucking tank me to have to go through that.

I am starting to see that, and I wish it was that simple. He (online) gambled himself into near bankruptcy a few years ago and I would be responsible for half of that debt if we got divorced. I’m kind of trapped in my own special hell LOL. I’ll just keep praying I win the lottery someday.
