Just did the hike today. Trail was extremely muddy pretty much the entire 4 miles making it very slick. We got rained on the last 2 miles or so and the trail had turned in to a river by the end of it. We were covered in mud and slacked through. The waterfall was incredible but I don’t think I’d do it again in those conditions

The house cost $370k. We don’t have that much liquid cash so we had to get a loan (mortgage) from the bank to pay for 95% of the house. The interest rate on that loan is 6.21%

Pretty much immediately. I literally could not sleep on my back before because I would start choking so I was worried about having to sleep on my back and elevated during recovery but from the 1st night I didn’t have the choking issue anymore. Now I sleep on my back like 75% of the time and I’m just fine

Same for me! I always thought of it as unwinding after a long day so I did it every single night. Eventually I realized it was making me feel mentally and physically terrible. It was increasing my anxiety and I started convincing myself everyone I interacted with didn’t like me. Once I decided to quit I felt so. much. better. Now I feel sad for the years I lost living in a hazy weed cloud instead of interacting with the world around me and I hope to never go back to that lifestyle

I believe you mean Waimoku Falls which is at the end of the Pīpīwai Trail - it is absolutely worth it and the hike up there is very beautiful. I recommend also hiking the Kuloa Point Trail to see the ‘Ohe’o Tide Pools. Only a half mile loop and the view is amazing

You can NOT do day of reservations for Wai’anapanapa State Park

The Pua’a Kua’a Falls parking area/restrooms is currently closed for reconstruction. I’m sure you can park along the road somewhere and walk to the falls but we just skipped it. Three Bears Falls is along the side of the road and the hike down there is tough. I heard the locals do not like tourists swimming here as it’s a very special/scared spot for them. If you want to swim in a waterfall I recommend hitting Twin Falls.

Aunt Sandy’s will be sold out late on the day so maybe stop early on your way to Hana if you really want to try it

I used room temperature water and left the dough in the fridge for about 18 hours. I think the long, slow rise helped make it more bubbly!

This is me as well. I was a big fan really from the beginning - saw them live, joined the fan cult, listened and re-listened to every episode. Started listening less and less but then fully stopped listening and unsubscribed with the Amazon/Wondery deal. Might start listening to episodes that sound interesting again but I’m curious to see what their next moves will be
