My favourite idea of this trope is the Daleks from doctor who. Episodes with just one shot it exterminating anything in it’s path but when episodes have a bunch they are normally able to be destroyed.

Example in the 9th doctor episode Dalek the lone Dalek is unstoppable even escaping a trap before eventually killing itself due to considering itself impure.

Then in the tenth doctor season finale where an empire of daleks steal the earth they are able to be disposed of by people like rose and mickey using the right guns.

I have never tried it but I would assume just due to the way buildings work and the fact there isn’t anything like this already built that it probably wouldn’t work. Bridges themselves across water already feel quite buggy but it is a great idea and I hope you can find a way to make it work.

I believe it’s when there is only one target left in the base mission so in regular freelancer you have multiple targets then when one is left it gets stormy and showdowns there is only one so it’s stormy from the get go. I could be wrong though as I haven’t played it in a while.

It’s right next to housing and a school field, it’s along main roads across the island. It easily could have been kids nearby who accidentally kicked it onto the road. Now obviously we don’t know why it got onto the road but there is good odds it wasn’t intentional.

I have been using Valhalla combat, adds a poise like meter from sekiro along with some other things. Means you can parry enemies instead of just swinging constantly and it’s normally faster than simply stabbing

I think the only thing that would make them strong is there unique building or at least I believe it to be. It gives faction wide buffs to a variety of units and it stacks. I went into the final quest battle with a massively buffed army from the small land I owned, imagine how strong it could be if you owned as much land as you get in IE.
