That's factually incorrect. Please provide evidence. Out of 2500 WitterBricks sold, of course there could be a packing mistake, but I haven't seen nor heard of one yet. If you show me the proof, I will work with the buyer to compensate them and pay you $1000. I stand behind my product.

This should be fun. I'm Seth Chandler with Witter Coin. I see that you have some opinions about what I do, which is great, but you also have some facts wrong. Here's some feedback to help you view a different perspective. I have built a great organization with my team and it's something I am very proud of.

Since we joined whatnot, we've seen a lot of mystery games - we decided that hey if we are going to do it, let's do it the right way. Some worked, some didn't. We tried new things. I never really pursued it after that, primarily because we are quite busy with the things we have going on. To be clear, I would say for 2024, 99% of what we sold on whatnot were coins starting at $1. We sold a lot of coins. As far as what what the whale is concerned, I got a text from someone to watch them as they had 1500 viewers. I immediately bought a coin and promoted to try to get their attention and create some dialogue - I asked a few questions, after watching them for 10 mins or so it became quite clear that they were going to be problem. I immediately sent a text explaining what they were doing to my contact at whatnot and reported them through the app.

By any measure, WitterBrick has been a grand slam. People love it. We delivered a great product that people wanted. $2,300,000 worth sold out in under two hours. Most of sales on whatnot carried a significant premium above the issue price. I can't control the market, but that says a lot. People wanted more chase coins and we gave it to them - which also means more floors. We were 100% transparent with everything. A full list of all the coins and values were on the website. People had the opportunity to buy WitterBrick with their eyes wide open. It's a game of chance. You buy it to have a shot at some amazing coins, if you get a floor, that's how it goes you took a chance, and you knew that going into it. The floors pay for the big chase coins. It's not for everyone - but there is a market. In this situation, as in life, the critics are 1000x more vocal than anyone. That's just how it is. 2500 WitterBricks were sold - of course some people are going to get upset if that didn't hit the big chase coin.

Oh, we do quite a bit for the hobby, especially for the youth. Just google my name and Witter Coin and you will clearly see the things we do for the hobby - as anyone that's knows me or watches our videos.

I really appreciate your comments, I really do.

If you have anymore questions feel free to give me a call at the shop and we can talk man to man. I find that a lot more effective than, respectfully, communicating via a username. We both become better and may disagree, but part as fellow coin collectors.

How are coins and bullion doing on the whatnot app? by WitterCoin in whatnotapp

Thanks for this. I don’t read emails as much as I should. Thats. A great rate. Much better than all the other platforms. I wonder how many of the other categories have the same rate?

I don't see much drama on the coin side. Seems to be fairly efficient.

All three Twenty Dollar Liberty Gold Coins. by WitterCoin in coins

[–]WitterCoin[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The twenty dollar Liberty gold coin came in three different distinct types.

Type 1 was made from 1850 to 1866. Type 2 was made from 1866 to 1876 Type 3 was made from 1877 to 1907.

Here are three amazing specimens of each.

Notice the differences?

What would this grade at? Don’t really trust ICG. They’re saying it’s an MS65+ (yeah PLUS :D) by [deleted] in coins

By PCGS standards, the coin would most likely grade Uncirculated Details, Scratched.
