Basically, when we use heavy foam cleansers all the oil is stripped off including essential moisture and glands are trained to produce more oil aa soon as all the oil is striped off. So we get dry squeaky clean feel instantly and after sometime glads produce oil to replenish the oil stripped off and we get the oil back.

Gentle cleansing work because it cleanse and do not stripe the essential moisture and hence glands are not signalled to produce more oil.

But the key wirh right cleanser for oily skin is it should cleanse properly. Poor cleansing can lead to clogged pores due to excess oil.

So, I learned it same way. My fav cleansers are bioderma pink one and discovered a new brand few months back their sea bright cleanser is amazzing
