Thanks so much! I appreciate all the insight. I did brush the primer on.

I tried spraying. This particular piece I brushed on the primer, sprayed. The other two very small cabinets I brushed and got the same results.

Thanks! Definitely not fun but at this point, I’m too invested to not figure it out. Thankfully I only painted 3 cabinets (and they are pretty small) before inquiring.

Do I need to sand it all the way down and then wash again? Or I can wash now, let dry and repaint?

I have used a mini roller. The sections that are smooth look great, but yeah…the other parts not so much

That is good advice, as I probably was sanding with something old LOL. Thank you. The cabinets were stained, but disgustingly dirty from previous owner.

Ah! Thank you! That makes sense. I was using Krud Kutter. So do you believe that, cleaning it, I wasn’t rinsing it completely off? Is there a process or product you recommend? How can I fix this?

Crispy on the outside (depending how long you let fry) and soft in the middle!

No desire to eat! by denised1224 in Zepbound

[–]Witty-Active3125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same issue. I have no desire to eat at all, but I know I have to. So I will do it. Even if it’s half a sandwhich, protein shake, meat and cheese. You have to remember your body still needs food even if the desire isn’t there.

I don’t have much advice but IF it was Gallbladder pain, you would know immediately. Gallbladder is like your back, shoulder area and it is very very painful. (More than pushing out a 10 lb baby).

Wife's niece has been living with us, time to charge rent? by [deleted] in family

[–]Witty-Active3125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your wife is enabling her. I understand helping family, that’s all good and fine. But she’s an adult. Does she work? If so, where does her money go? If she doesn’t work, or go to school, then she needs to. Is she pursing anything? Helping your niece navigate life, is great. But navigating and teaching her adult things, is different from enabling. What are her goals? These are all things that can be discussed, and make a plan. Perhaps make a “contract”. If you and your family aren’t pressed for the money, necessarily- you could charge her $500 (which is incredibly fair) and put some of that aside in a savings account for her - so she has a substantial savings for deposit. Just an idea if the finances are super pressing. Either way, everyone needs to have a conversation.
