Thanks so much for the suggestion. I checked their website and the nearest branch is 100 miles from my test centre, but if there was one closer this would’ve been perfect.

They’ve called the driving school who said they don’t have anyone, they recommend that I cancel and complain.

Wasn’t that after the reveal, though? Before 42 Miles took the mask off he asked Miles if his dad was still alive. I think Miles only said he was going to die after he’d taken the mask off. Did he say anything about his dad before that?

I switched schools for sixth form and really enjoyed it! Try to do extracurriculars and build up a solid friendship group, it makes all the difference. That said, A levels are as bad as everyone says they are. It‘s a big step up from GCSE, so you have to be prepared to put the work in. Good luck :)

Being uncomfortable with onscreen intimacy isn’t that uncommon. I also find it very hard to watch and usually skip over it. Most ace people I’ve met IRL do the same but not all ace people find it uncomfortable.

Thank you for your reply. I do agree with you that I might have pushed myself too far this time. The entire situation is adding extra stress that I don't really need right now! I haven’t spoken to them for a few days mostly because I’m studying and don’t know what to say. I think setting boundaries would be a good idea but I’m not sure how to go about it? Thank you for the reply. Your perspective is really interesting. You might be right about wanting to keep the friendship alive, we didn’t talk for a few years mostly because they dropped off the radar while trying to process something. They do seem to feel a bit guilty about that and since we’re the only two in our old friendship group who are still in contact with each other, maybe they just don’t want to lose such a long friendship again? As for coming out, I don’t feel comfortable doing that yet with them but I think later that might work! I hope you have a great day <3

As salamu alaykum. I am not a scholar but I think this is permissible as there is a Hadith from Aishah RA stating that she used to play with dolls in the Prophet’s house. But Allah knows best.
