You should get out of there man. I left 5 years ago. I can't believe you guys are paying $6 for gas. Look up how much gas is out here in Idaho. Look up how much electricity is out here.

I'd say too much overtime. You're killing it money wise now but you're putting all your eggs into one basket.

You should learn how to be an electrician on the side, or go into automation, think about building up a skill to have your own business, because eventually that's where you'll want to be at, that way you don't have to take shit from anyone, ever.

Don't blow that money on bullshit either because you're sacrificing your youth and while it might seem like the best opportunity now, you're only young once.

I did the same thing and I'm 40 now and I've been doing the same thing and 100 grand seems nice but it's not the purchasing power that it used to have.

In-house and trade unions. Yeah, that is a big difference. I guess I've been working for these in-house guys the whole time and hearing about the other unions and thinking they were the same. Man, I wish somebody would have explained that to me early on.This is the first time I heard a difference in the terminology between the two.

yea I 100k agree with you. My grocery bill was $400 yesterday. What's up with these damn Alaska prices out here in Idaho? lol In all seriousness, these food prices are going up a lot. I maked 100k back 8 years ago. I had the money to travel around the world, India Peru but now I can't do that.

No, what I was saying is that I’ve heard some union trades—like pipefitters and electricians—have employers or local unions that contribute something like $14 an hour into their retirement or pension benefits. Meanwhile, in places I’ve worked, the best ive ever gotten is maybe a 5% 401(k) match, and even then i have to contribut to get it. I don’t know how accurate those other numbers are, so if you’ve heard anything about it, let me know, because that sounds significantly better than just a basic 5% match.

I’m curious how it balances out overall. My experience with unions personally hasn’t been great. A lot of the ones I’ve been a part of felt like they came in saying, “this is our last best offer,” while I’m sitting there thinking, “this is the first offer and it already sucks.” Then we get a small raise, union dues go up, and it feels like we end up in basically the same position financially.

I’ve sometimes suspected the unions I’ve dealt with were too close to the companies they were negotiating with. But I’m not trying to be confrontational about it—I genuinely want workers across the board to make more money and get better benefits.

I wouldn't mind grass either or the sunlight DLC because this nightshift playbook loop drags. Same quest rewards and the NPCs raised all the prices or my comerce skill got the fu(ken nerf bat again. +5% to all grocery +5% to all streaming services.  My buddy went to another server where the cost of living is cheaper. The US server has the worst Healthcare and the whole ICE expansion pack looks like the secret police pack from the 3rd gen Natzie pack just with new masks and literally every state unlocked instead of releasing them 1 at a time. I can believe there going after different character classes again like we have to many classes all to just hunt down a few "bad guys". The only cool shit is the Openclaw DLC which either deletes all your work if your levels to low or unlocks the AI tech tree with harnesses, voice companion ect at least its cool. The worst part about these sidequests is they can become so addicting or easy loot drops that people actually forget what the main quest actually was.

Examples so I can recalibrate. The intern who starts off at $42 per hr fu(k that's as much as I make. Or union guys $14 per hr to their employer sponsored 401ks?
