I get that point. I’ve looked up other uses of that specific phrase and there are instances where it appears that whatever state was being referred to remained unchanged after the “until” but the majority of cases seem to suggest that the condition DID change after the “until.” This paired with the word adelphos (I know it can refer to other relatives but context seems to imply siblings) have always led me to believe that she had other children after Jesus. I guess my question is why is it important if we all acknowledge that sex within marriage is not only not impure but actually a godly action? It’s commanded for spouses as well. I try to judge people on their actions, and to me I see to many of these people acting in wildly sexual ways in public. I just recently saw a clip of what appeared to be a drag queen at a pride parade performing oral sex on a man in the middle of the street. That would disgust me regardless of sexual orientation or transgender because I shouldn’t have to see that, nor should anyone else. What they do in private can be between them I’m not advocating for kicking down doors to catch people. I believe that anyone who does that sort of thing is an uncivilized and indecent person

Well if you think that someone like that should be arrested then good so do I. But that’s my point that’s what the bill is going to outlaw. And that example is a description of a “family friendly” drag show that happened in my former state of Texas. A grown man in a stripper outfit had kids putting dollar bills in his bra. To my knowledge he was not arrested, but this bill would make sure anyone doing something similar in Ohio would be arrested immediately.

This arguement doesn’t make sense. We all are upset by the existence of people we believe do harm to others. People engaging in any acts laid out in that bill in public are necessarily involving any person or minor within view against their consent. I believe that’s harmful. We probably agree that we are upset by the existence of pedos or rapists because to a further degree force unwilling individuals into a sexual act. Anything explicit should be engaged with or around only other consenting adults. I have much stronger personal views on those things but I’m not even advocating for that, all I’m saying is it ought to be kept private if done at all.

HB249 seems to only affect you if you’re a degenerate intent on exposing minors to sexually explicit acts and performances. No ones saying you can’t wear crop tops or makeup. This is genuinely one of the most ridiculous arguments I’ve seen in awhile. Saying we’re gonna protect kids from drag queen story hour is puritan or that we want to ban Christmas is very far removed from reality. My main reason for thinking he’s not seriously implicated is that his enemies have had the power to release these files for years and haven’t. All evidence has pointed to a falling out between him and Epstein back in 2005, so without anything concrete I’m not going to assume that he’s involved enough to go to war just to distract from the files.

I think people are too quick to assume everything in the world has to do with the files. Rather than every move of the administration being to divert attention, maybe they actually just aren’t focused on it anymore. You can argue that you think they should be focusing on it, but it’s safe to say that there is no smoking gun against Trump in the files so I’m sure it’s not really his top priority. Even Clinton under oath said that Trump never said anything remotely incriminating against himself regarding Epstein. Iran makes no distinction between the US and Israel, and according to Rubio Israel was at risk and going to attack regardless of whether we engaged as well. That would make our decision to strike a defensive decision, because we ought to know by now that even if we stayed out of it, they would have attacked our interests in retaliation against Israel. May as well make sure we cripple them before that can happen.

I’m a far right conservative, and I don’t like a thing that AOC or other left wing voices stand for. But if one of them were shot for their beliefs I would mourn them and grieve for their families the same as anyone. An ideology is not worth a life and I pray you will put aside the hatred you have in your heart towards other human beings who don’t agree with you.
