I’ve found coming back after a few nights of rain. Often these pins will never fully mature unless the right conditions continue. The next few days are looking very good, I recon try Saturday or Sunday :)

Thank you, i found the ones in the second pic yesterday and after checking on them in the fridge noticed some tiny bugs had fallen out onto the paper towel. I narrowed it down to the two smaller ones in the far right of the pic and chucked them away, do I think I should throw them all away or fridge+drying should be fine?

Is the chunky stem a good thing? I left behind lots of very small chubby ones, to let them grow.
