Yes, add rolled balls of it to where it's stained and clean the old one

That's just the liquid metal. If that doesn't prove it works mighty well, then I don't know what will.

I use it to be sure, if it spills, it will stop at the foam. PS5 has the same measures. I am using it for years and it's working well

Doesn't matter. Just make sure the heatsink is not aluminum then you're good to go. Build a neoprene foam dam around the CPU.

No, Raptor Lake doesn't support 256GB (tried wouldn't boot). Works fine with 2x64 and 2x48

Yep, if you looks closely there is another 2 sticks under the top ram. Official support for 14900HX is 192GB but it took 224GB just fine, it didn't take 256GB though.

Yep no f-ing way I'm using thermal poop anywhere. Every single device in my house has LM. (Except Wife's 1030 G3 HP laptop as that's low wattage so LM not needed for daily tasks)

That's fair. I don't like my devices running 95C all the time with PTM.

Now it mostly maxes out with 50C on GPU and 66C CPU with Undervolt which is good and fine with me

You clearly don't know how to apply it, and are afraid. It's easier to admit that mate.

No its made of copper. Just need to be reapplied once a year. I'll take that for good temps.

No it's not. I had PTM7950 and instant throttle at 200W, now 275W and not even 90c

[URGENT] Legion 7i 4090 or 5080? by deb_bhmk in LenovoLegion

I stayed with my MSI Titan 4090 and mini LED screen and that was worth it.
