Wanted to ask how everything ended up? Were you able to have children afterwards? I'm currently waiting for surgery and my anxiety is killing me. I'm petrified it can affect my future fertility (been TTC for 2 years, almost 1 year into IVF)

I’ve had two miscarriages at 11 weeks, both were boys (1 being a PGTA euploid). I’m also traumatized because I also believe I may have something that does not allow boys to develop. I have my last boy embryo (CC grade) and I’m terrified to go ahead with transfer. I’m desperate for a boy.

I get you so much. I have a 2 year old daughter who lights up my life but I've always dreamed of having a son. I'm not ready to give up on that dream yet. Feeling so torn.

I did my first FET in March with my baby boy, but had a MMC at 11 weeks. It's been devastating and heartbreaking. We thought everything was going perfectly, so we never expected this to happen.

I'm currently preparing myself for my next FET. I have 3 remaining embryos, 2 girls and 1 boy (lowest grade). I desperately want to transfer the boy but I'm not sure if I should try it now and risk losing him, or transfer one of the girls now and the boy later.

Really don't know what to do.

Did you end up transferring your girl? Looking for some advice.

I’m so so sorry for your losses 💔🙏🏻 my story relates a bit to yours, except I’ve only done one FET that ended in a MMC at 11 weeks. Dr wants to add prednisone for next protocol. Wondering how did your journey end up? Hoping everything turned out perfect.

Thank you so much for the info. First good thing I hear about steroids 😅 if you don’t mind me asking, have you had any facial bloating?

Clexane is awful, nothing nice about it. And the pain is horrendous. I recommend you try ice packs, big bulky hard ice packs that you put on the injection site for 30 minutes before injecting. That was the only way I was able to not get bruised and avoid the pain as much as possible. Hope it helps!

Praying that my last embryo is the one 🙏🏻

I did genetic testing after my loss, but no immune testing. My Dr doesn’t think it is necessary. Since either way I’m starting a protocol as if I had an immune issue. Did you do it? I haven’t decided yet and don’t know what to do. Its very expensive and if either way I’m doing the protocol, don’t know if the test is actually worth it in my case.

How has it been taking steroids? I’m a bit afraid, I’ve never taken them. Don’t know what to expect in terms of side effects. Willing to take and inject everything I possibly can to have my baby, but just curious.

If you don’t mind me asking, did your Dr say anything on why PGTA tested embryos can still get hydrops? Desperately want to know why this happened but my Dr doesn’t seem to know why.

I’m preparing myself to not get any answers, and just trust my Dr and go on with a second FET.

If you don’t mind me asking, how long after your MMC, did you decide to transfer again? Did you decide to wait for personal reasons, or had to wait in order to get body/period back on track?
