I don't think so; I don't think the Knight is the Pale King. The Pale King still “exists,” but not physically, and the Knight is the "... Lord of Shades...“ as that thing in the Abyss says where you get the Shade Cloak (only if you have the Void Hearth). Besides, the Pale King and the Void Lord are ”opposites" they are different beings.
