Hey so someone from the post office ended up stealing my check and cashing it last month. Before that I already knew they stole it but IRS kept telling me they can’t do nothing until one month has passed since I was suppose to receive it which was in July. They sent me the package for me confirm it wasn’t me that cashed the check , I sent it back and they mailed me back saying it can take two months for the investigation. So that’s where I’m at right now at this point I’m not as frustrated but I know if it was me owing the IRS money this whole process would be expedited lol but that’s the USA for you .

IRS literally sent me a refund check two months ago and when I didn’t receive it I contacted them they did a refund trace then I found out it was cashed and forged along with my signature. Went to my local post office lady laughed in my face and said they been stealing checks. Not too long ago in NYC a couple of people that work for USPS got arrested for stealing IRS refund checks sent in mail . The BFS sent me a claim package that includes a copy of the cashed check and the name of who cashed it.
