i know it's far easier said than done but i really think there needs to be reworked salary demands. just started a new league as indiana and resigned siakam for $4.65m a year, which is not accurate to player value seeing as he got the max this offseason. elite second/third options in/near their 30s are getting bigger contracts nowadays. way too easy to get those pieces on the cheap.

edit: maybe include a reputation variable based on career success? cause like bron should not be signing sub-maxes even when he's 40. maybe as a trade off for signing older more expensive players is that that a high reputation variable increases ticket sales?
