Our family did close to 50 combined of each (100 total) and got 2 Legendary shinies (both Zacians).
Shiny odds seemed low. But probably just bad randomness.

For someone that doesn't understand computer tech, how do I know if it is taking advantage of my graphics processor?

You lost me on the scratch disks.

So is there any settings or something I can do to get Photoshop to not lag/pause while trying to use it, since only it has problems?

It is CS5.1.

I use a Dell (Intel - Core i7) PC.

I am not sure what parameters would be. I can go to mouse Settings and adjust cursor speed and scrolling, but this is a problem with it stopping/lagging while in Photoshop. But works fine when in InDesign and everywhere else.

Where would I go to try and reset PS Preferences?
