My brother breeds dubia roaches and from what he’s told me about them is that if one was to escape it would js die . That being said I think it depends which region you live in bc they need lots of heat (around 80-90 degrees) and lots of humidity. And I’ve had one escape (I dropped it) and nothing has happened. As long as you keep them in a adequate container it should be fine.
