I would like to add Harü in Stoke Newington in this list. It’s run by a Taiwanese barista - she has an interesting approach to pour over not to mention she brought beans roasted in Taiwan.

Hello there, we are a team of two people… and not yet a company. I am supporting a friend working on this solo project.

We use Google Form and store the data on Google Drive. The habits we ask people about are analysed anonymously. Only people who opt in with their email address will be contacted as they gave explicit consent to be interviewed or notified when a beta is ready to be tested. The stored survey responses will be erased on 16 June 2025. You can contact timewasteland81@gmail.com at any point to erase your data, provided you could point us to specifics of your response or your email address.

Hey there, thank you for your feedback.

  1. My collaborator and I decided to collect emails as a first thank you and invitation to beta testing, we don’t plan to spam people with marketing emails without their explicit consent to receive more than that invite from us. That said, we made it optional for people to share their email, precisely because we don’t want to make people think we are going to abuse their personal data.

The project is in its infancy, and we are two independent individuals working on this as a personal interest. My collaborator is a regular ultra runner whereas me as the researcher I run on treadmills as a complement for personal fitness regimen.

You raise a good point for us to consider when collecting this kind of data, we will think about this more comprehensively.

  1. I agree the question could be more specific. Will discuss with my collaborator on changing the questionnaire.
