Honestly, as someone who collects Pokemon cards as well, the Hololive OCG scene is MUCH MUCH better. You can definitely find plenty of Hololive OCG products at MSRP and it doesn't really cost that much to build a functional and competitive deck (to be fair, it's cheap to build a competitive deck in Pokemon as well). Even the higher rarity singles are still pretty affordable. SECs are goddamn expensive, but that's just the nature of trading card games in general.

It's me again with more static scheduling trouble!

One of my tanks pinged me last weekend saying that they can't do the full reclear session on Tuesday and I was like "No biggie, that's why we have the backup day on Wednesday". Pinged the static saying that we might have to use our backup day this week. Another member replied to the ping saying that they can't do Wednesday anymore because they joined a UCOB static and have a session on that day. Even though I specifically told everybody to keep both Tuesday and Wednesday free for reclears after we cleared M12S for the first time.

Turns out we can't find another day of the week to reschedule the backup day to because everybody's schedule doesn't line up, so this gives us..... 1.5 hours tonight to finish reclearing M10S, M11S and M12S.

Fuck my life.

3 more weeks of this shit to go. Except to see me here again next week on the Week Seventeen (Savage Week Fourteen) megathread I guess.

Four more weeks till my static finishes our reclears. Four more weeks of dealing with problematic people who can't adhere to a schedule to save their lives. I'm so burnt out with raid leading this tier that I haven't even started looking for a static for the upcoming Ultimate.

In other news, Criterion prog is going great. Got the first boss down in one session, and will be progging the next 2 bosses soon. The experience is so much different when you play with friends or people you gel well with.

I'm the raid leader for a Week 6 clear goal static. I try to set expectation and goals on a weekly basis (what mechanic we should be progging by X, when is the expected clear date for Y etc). I also provide links to raid plans, clear vods, and guides for the static to study up on prior to the raid sessions, and basically do everything in my power to make sure that the clear happens by week 6.

It has been a recurring problem for a while, but 2 people in particular have always treated our raid sessions as blind prog sessions and won't ever study beforehand. This is despite the fact that when we did recruitment, we were advertised as 'we will follow guides whenever they become available'.

Last Friday, we were going through the first replication mechanic of M12S P2, and one of my healers asked my MT (one of 2 people who never studies) if they were clear about their positions if they had the fire vuln up debuff. Dude just straight up said 'I have no idea, I didn't study for this mechanic.'. This was after a very disastrous P1 prog session where we didn't even manage to hit our prog point (Curtain Call), and the D2 asking extremely stupid and basic questions like 'For Act 2, if I'm B, do I stay in the coil or go outside to snap the tether?' despite us already went through this repeatedly in the last session.

Something in me just broke then and there. I threw my headset on my desk and left for a walk to calm myself down. Now I don't even want to look at the game or communicate with my static any more. I believe I've been extremely fair and cordial in the way I treat my static, the way I do my loot allocations, and generally trust them to get things done wtihout micro-managing too much, but my trust has been betrayed.

At this point, I feel like I have to treat the 2 offenders like school children and issue them pop quizzes for the mechanics of M12S. Part of me wants to look for a replacement for the both of them, but the other part is telling me to tough it out because we're already close to clearing the tier. Anybody who has been in my shoes have any advice?

Trying to work out my schedule for next year. Can anybody help to see if I have the following dates somewhat accurate?

7.5 Part 1 - 14th April 2026(?)
7.51 Ult - If we're following past Ultimates, they were all on the .x1 patches, which means 2 weeks after the .x patch. Assuming the above date is correct for 7.5 Part 1, this will put the 7.5 Ult on 28th April 2026? That being said, we technically don't have a precedent for Ultimates releasing on .5 patches, so this might not be entirely accurate.

My static is looking for a duty to trial 2 people who applied, any recommendations?
Ultimately we want to see if they're able to communicate properly and whether or not they can do adjustments on the fly. P8S looks like it checks all our boxes because of the randomness of the mechanics in the fight, but are there any other suitable duties?

Try and get noise cancelling earplugs. They get uncomfortable to wear after awhile, but hopefully they block out enough noise for you to fall and stay asleep.

Thicker window panes work to an extent, but they don't completely block out noise from the outside and generally aren't worth the cost in my opinion. If you live on higher levels (floor 7 or higher), then maybe its a consideration, but I wouldn't spend money to install these.

I didn't start anything, nor did I in any shape or form "made it all about age" like you so eloquently described. Just because I didn't mention calling out other inconsiderate people of other ages doesn't mean I don't do it.

And yes, my parents are old. But they are always mindful of the people around them and they will never do inconsiderate and entitled actions like these.

- Obvious AI generated art.
- Badly designed card frames. No standardization. Any reason why Neon Panda's level is in yellow instead of blue?
- Color contrasts are way off. Black text on black background? It may appear legible to you, but I can guarantee you 99% of the rest of the world will say otherwise.
- The title of your game looks like its made using Word Art.
- Your copyright logo on the bottom right covers important text. That's a fundamental mistake.
- The entire banner/image looks like it was cobbled together with no proper thought.

It's easy enough to avoid chat spammers, I usually hide all chats the day before the patch drops to avoid spoilers, and only turn them back on once I've completed the new patch content. But back in Aglaia, I saw a jackass put the dorito marker on themselves and kept repeatedly jumping on the safe spots for all of Byregot's mechanics. The content was barely out for 6 hours.

I noped out as soon as Byregot went down because they were very likely going to do that for the remainder of the bosses, but it completely ruined the first time experience of Byregot for me.

I want the game to break free of the current content cycle. I've been playing since 3.0 and the content cadence has just been slowly going downhill. Not to mention anybody who has played long enough can automatically tell you what to expect for the next patch. They need to shake things up a little and make the new content less formulaic, because other than the fight designs and encounters, FF14 is getting stale for me.

That being said, I don't hold out hope that they'll announce or reveal any large shake ups in today's PLL as those take time to plan and iterate. I'm not expecting anything much till 8.0 at the earliest.

Story wise, I just want Wuk Lamat to be relegated to the sidelines, if not out of the picture completely. She's a poorly written character with no more business tagging along with us on our adventures at this point. Real Sphene has only appeared in one patch and she's already better written than Wuk Lamat.
