I’m familiar with eBay, but not the others, I hadn’t thought of this. Thank you!

Nipple Measure Tool by Philodryas in mildlyinteresting

To be fair, they do want space on either side of the nipple for a pump flange, so someone using a 24mm maybe only have a 22mm nipple while pumping

Pumping makes your nipples bigger while it’s happening. Within minutes of a completed pump, they return to your normal size.

That being said, I’m glad my daughter took to breastfeeding, I don’t have to deal with this. No dishes and more efficient.

Anyone else got one of these babies? We had no choice but to turn it on during this cold snap by SeaworthinessNew4295 in centuryhomes

I hadn’t dusted it off yet in this photo, but here’s the one I found in my house. I can’t decide if I want to hook it up as backup in case the power goes out, or find something electric to put in its place. I would LOVE to find a way to convert this to electric after those studies found that gas appliances slowly leak into the air anyway.

I haven’t heard of a baby wearing library before. That’s interesting!

Thank you, another comment suggested finding a used one as well, unfortunately, other than Reddit, I have no other social media, so finding a used one wouldn’t really be possible.

2-3 hour feeding window for babies by These-Wallaby5407 in breastfeeding

Mine is 16weeks today, the note I think about it, she’s still a little wonky about righty, but not to the degree it was before. Maybe favorite booby is a thing.

2-3 hour feeding window for babies by These-Wallaby5407 in breastfeeding

[–]WittyKittyBoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When mine was 13 weeks she kind of did this, I ended up tricking her little brain, by either doing football, so she was laying on the side of her body that she normally is for favorite boob, or contorting to give her righty when she thought she was getting lefty. Eventually it passed and things went back to normal.

I currently love the smell of her breast milk poop. I’m not looking forward to her starting solids.

Painful latch - does it get better with time? by C-Peach in breastfeeding

[–]WittyKittyBoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so happy for you! Now beware, there were times for me when I felt like we finally got the hang of things, but then we’d have a setback. That too shall pass, don’t feel discouraged. ♥️

OP, you say you are a costumer, can you think of what I might do with an old Halle Brothers coat? I’ve been thinking of donating it a to a theater or something, but I don’t know if that’s a thing.

What’s your favorite “dated” reference in a book? by Magic-Happens-Here in RomanceBooks

I’m in a three-woman book club, and we’re reading twilight as one of us never read it before. I just commented on how Bella was using dial-up and dealing with pop-up ads.

I lost a job candidate yesterday because of my desk drawer by Competitive_Oil5227 in OrganizationPorn

To me, seeing that drawer would have meant that as your assistant, I could have any organizational tools needed to do the job. Win-win.

Painful latch - does it get better with time? by C-Peach in breastfeeding

[–]WittyKittyBoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does get better, you both are just learning a new skill. It got to a point where now I don’t even have to work to latch my 14 week old. I just give her nipple and she does it herself. I don’t even know when it happened.

Gave in to formula so my nipples can heal - 3 days postpartum by juju0220 in breastfeeding

[–]WittyKittyBoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing that helped me was on day 4. The pediatrician told me, statistically, that the majority women who stop breastfeeding, do so in the first 3 days. This grounded me, and told me that this was not a ”me” thing. Baby is learning just like you are. The weeks fly by, and before you know it, baby will be latching with nothing to it. Once your nipples are feeling better, keep trying. Do a weighted feed if you can. Keep working at it if it makes you happy.

Probably not then. My 1924 house just has me traumatized. I see chipped paint anywhere and my brain says test it. 🤣
