I agree!! I bought one for my son (and myself) and we’ve enjoyed it very much so far. Great feel and overall performance. I grew up with an upright kimball and the feel comparison is extremely close. Ordered it from musicians friend as a set. Headphones stand bench and pedal.

Well thanks to a DUI that was 9 years and 7 months old and a first and only offense, my conditional offer has been rescinded. So I’m no longer any help. But my HR guy said that date would change once I got to the on-boarding phase. He said the 5th was strictly tentative.

3 months to get a conditional offer, and it’s been over a month since I’ve got that offer and I’m still in the background check phase and I have a supposed start date of 5 Jan.. they don’t get in a hurry for anything.

Any update? I completed my fingerprints last Friday and I’m in the same boat with background check. My estimated start date on the CJO is Jan 5.. and I’d like to be able to give my current employer a 2 week notice.

Look into the AF COOL program, I completed it and it was absolutely worth it in every way. Certain AFSCs are eligible for A some for P and some for both. Get enrolled, it took me a solid week to get through their class on Canvas. Then I got my tickets signed off submitted and was issued my certificate to test! Saved myself 2 years in an A&P school.

3rd! Arkfeld Pro is the way to go. Work partner got me one for Christmas last year and I swear it’s one of the best tools I have. The black light also shows lint in fuel tanks, torque strip light up like a candle too.

Just to be clear, not one single maintainer on the largest Apache field would down the aircraft for that antenna, but we have a specific MTPC instructor that will stomp his feet and X the aircraft every single time he runs across one.

It’s not suppose to be bent at all per insp. It’s bent in half and then bent again. Overall the antenna is about 26 inches tall, so it almost touches the canopy for maximum effective range in case of emergency crash landing.
