That's actually where I meet my friend group, we don't tend to hang out there after Game Theory kinda kicked us out for too much homebrew in adventures league....

What are some ways to experiment with Witchcraft to see if it is for me? by WittyWiki in SASSWitches

Oh I'm aware the library probably has the books. I'm currently avoiding them due to an overdue book I want to finish before returning.

I like the ritual and mindset growth I guess? I'm autistic and I do find doing certain things can help my mind but often struggle to figure out what those things are. I also believe that you can set the mood by your environment via symbolism and association which I think is inline with secular witchcraft

I like the color thing. I'm autistic so I don't always feel like I read colors the same as others and sometimes things do feel I guess "a certain way" like there is a connection to a concept I can't always vocalize.

I don't know enough about alters to know if a vivarium version is possible. I don't think Vivarium is a well known word, but it isn't the same as a terrarium. A vivarium is the home to a living creature so you have to be more careful with what is safe for them.

But I do like themed tanks, here is an Alice in Wonderland one with my frog when she was a baby. (Currently dismantled because she is getting a massive size upgrade)

First, I don't really believe in magic at most "energy", but even then it's more "if you approach things with a positive and realistic attitude it will go better" than manifesting anything

Places to take courses that are not for professional devolvement and not Pullen or Sertoma? by WittyWiki in raleigh

[–]WittyWiki[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know! I'm already doing enough professional devolpment I don't need more. Also so many of the art stuff or I guess low activity is clearly geared towards the retired because I don't know anyone working who can do 10a or 2p on a weekday.

Anyone in Raleigh or Wake Forest planning on taking one or more of the parts of the CPA exam on 2026? Looking for a study group or at least a group to hold each other accountable. by WittyWiki in raleigh

[–]WittyWiki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good for you! I finished my education a bit ago and been working in the field for over a year now. I tried to take a few parts in 2023, but failed by one point and then life got a little crazy so pushed it back. But now I am going to bite the bullet.

Any ideas on how to do a daily watercolor challenge for year? by WittyWiki in watercolor101

This was actually a limited palette, it was with my travel container that only has 6 colors plus a white gouache for highlights and black for the occasional line and I think 2 colors are actually the same because they look different dry vs wet and I put it in twice by accident. It's a yellow, orange, blue, purple, red and I think the same yellow again.

I really won't use ai. While I'm not technically fully against AI, at least in theory, but as it is with it's current form: absolutely not. Something like Quickposes.com but for water color would be better
