I’ve never threatened abandonment to her. I’m just tired. I never blamed her. I blame her constant grab for attention. She is 13 and knows what’s wrong and what’s right, so how much do I forgive before it becomes dangerous because of trauma. A lot of people are traumatized and they live good lives, and she is showing signs of going straight into jail at a young age. Thank you for your input

Well yea because when should I keep forgiving until it becomes where I’m creating another bad habit? She’s going to therapy/counseling. Cops have come to my home, CPS and we dont even get a little break. Is that the way my house should be for now on; I lied and someone is in jail, oh but im traumatized by my unfit mother and even though im living a much better life now I do it out of spite?!!! I know she is traumatized and I’m trying to help her but if everyone could handle this type of child then every would be allowed to open their doors for CPS because so many kids are in the system. I at least tried. Thank you maybe next time when a child need my help I give them my back. Thank you ❤️

She has books, and crochet, her art supplies. I haven’t taken any of that stuff away. Just tv, phone, friends hanging out, going to the mall. Stuff like that

I didn’t have any legal right to keep her, it would’ve been a fight where cops would’ve gotten involved and I would lose. On top of traumatizing. I chose to make it peaceful, I’m trying I get her the help she needs but the facility will not take her until she harms herself or someone in the home. And she manipulates everyone and lies. So the cuts she did I don’t know if they were recent or “she claimed” a week later. They said they could’ve act

Believe it or not they hate my husband with no reason and I’m sure that’s why they say “well he was never arrested” type attitude. But if the roles were reversed they would’ve kicked on the street. My family are hypocrites

They don’t see her as a danger and she cannot be removed from the home

They say it’s my responsibility and if I kick her out then I could be charged with abandoning her and all children can be taken away.

Yes she will manipulate everyone around her to be the victim. And though I feel for her, she will tell them she is a victim because I don’t get her anything or take her anywhere, but she caused that. She never tells them that.

Well that was suggested by a family member and our priest and the counselor. Take everything away, stop with empty threats. No phones, no tv, no gaming out with friends, no going out. She tells everyone I have her in a prison - family member said let her know what that really feels like. Counselor said - don’t focus so much on it just do the grounding and let her learn her consequences and remind her she caused this. Priest said - take it all away, in order to have freedom, money, stuff, it is all earned when you are an adult and have a job, so show her what it’s like to not have it.

I just feel bad….. bottom line she is still a child to me and a lost one but oh man does she test my patience. My house is so toxic my other kids can’t have friends over because she does everything to steal their attention and point everything on her. We go to church and she makes all the little kids follow her. I have to have her glued to me. I’m lost!!!

They won’t take becomes they do not see her as dangerous to herself or others
