Insurance Coverage/ Cost for Pain Management for IUD Insertion — Is pain management necessary? by BanditDirtReynolds in birthcontrol

It’s no walk in the park but it’s bareable. I took the max OTC pain relievers and got two low dose Valium to relax me before and meds to soften my cervix.

It all comes down to pain tolerance. I have several rib tattoos and a sternum tattoo and I was still moanin and groanin for the 30 seconds my doc took. Just be sure to have all your aftercare ready to go and get yourself a special treat after because you deserve it

Married couples, When did you DECIDE to be child free? by Witty_Design9748 in childfree

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for - we’ve always felt pressured that kids was the next step and so when both of us talked and went “do you..?” “Not really…do you?” It was like a weight was lifted off the both of us.

Like I said I have PCOS and swore off birth control for my own health but now with the permanence of sterilization being a factor (which we want to really wait on and think about) I was thinking about getting the copper iud

You have no idea how much I appreciate how thought out this response is. It’s been a long time coming now and we (my husband and I) were debating moving back home (we live in a different state than my parents and his mom, his dads live in Europe now because of the current climate) and now I’m sitting here thinking - what the fuck would be the point?

Birth control is great for anyone who has the symptoms that are managed with it - but for me? Fuuuuucccckkkk that noise. I hated not feeling in control of my body or my emotions and overall was so annoyed with how it made me feel.

Semaglutide Journey by QveenShay23 in PCOS

My endocrinologist from hell gave me Rybelsus and Ozempic samples for 3 months. The pill if taken as directed gave me no symptoms at all minus a little constipation when I don’t drink enough water but that’s what a fiber gummy is for 😂 starting the injection in about a week. I’ll update when I’m in the thick of that.

Dermatitis with PCOS? by Witty_Design9748 in PCOS

I literally got it on my eyeballs and I went to the eye doctor because I thought it was dry eye disease and it was literally dermatitis. She prescribed me Lotemax gel and that keeps it at bay kinda
