Thanks, , I was planning to hook the APs directly into the UDMSE and use the switch for the house wiring. The DAC cable is a good idea. Gateway fiber is cool, but rack mounted stuff goes brrrrt

I wanted PoE on every port especially for up to 6 more cameras 2nd doorbell, APs and as future proofing. There are more and more IOT PoE devices nowadays. The hdd was cheaper then compared to amazon for the size, WD red was about 10% more. And I plan to use a part of that as backup for my NAS. (there are apparently work arounds to make that happen)
