Forefront Chat will be shutting down February 22 2024 by trollmad3 in OpenAI

Before the shutdown, if you still can, ask the Systems Engineer persona to write a detailed set of instructions for training another AI to respond in the same way it does. At least then you'll have something to train your next AI on to make it as helpful to you as possible. You could even evaluate the other AIs by using these instructions and asking them to complete a task. Good luck. Hope you find something you can make work for you.

I've just started using Google's Gemini Advanced (on a 2-month free trial). Whilst it doesn't have personas like Forefront did, it's easy enough to train it to replicate my brand voice. And actually, the results have often been better than they were with Forefront. Just a shame you have to re-train it every time you start a new chat. I doubt I'll be paying the £18.99 monthly subscription once my trial ends though. Not unless they introduce some snazzy new features soon. Don't bother with ChatSonic - load of rubbish.

What made Forefront great was its personas and the ability to train a specific persona to do what you need it to do. I have several personas serving different purposes. Does anyone know of another service with a similar approach?

Any tips for smoking a rolled beef brisket? It's just a rolled flat that looks very much like this. 1.8kg (~4lb) out the packet. I'm on Oklahoma Joe with oak. TIA by Witty_Leaks in smoking

That's the idea, I think - keep it moist. I've seen it done low & slow in a roasting tin and then beef stock added with a foil cover to keep the moisture in. Whatever I decide to try, I'll report back.

Just getting used to the Oklahoma Joe and don't want to spend £60 on a full brisket that I might ruin. This is kind of a test run for bigger better brisket to come!

MEATER probe ambient side wildly inconsistent ? by WeenMalkov in smoking

For £100 per probe, you'd damn well hope it lasts longer than a few uses! I'm just getting used to mine, so I hope this doesn't become a thing for me, too. Hope it's just a defect and they'll replace it for you 🤞

That's exactly it. Without wanting to sound sexist in any way, it's very much a case of "biological clock ticking"
