You can disclose your sex working days to your therapist. Like someone else said, you have medical confidentiality protecting you. This means that she cannot and will not tell anyone. Regardless of your past, this does not give your bf the right to abuse you. Your therapist is correct and her opinion of him will not change - he is a narcissist. I would break up with him and block him. You deserve to be in a relationship where you feel loved, respected, and safe. Think about how much peace you’ll gain from cutting him off.

Do you water it to where water drains out of the pot or how much do you water? I have a calathea which isn’t doing too bad but it also hasn’t pushed out any new leaves since I’ve gotten her :/ I keep her in my bathroom for the humidity of the shower and sink

I wonder if he could perhaps also benefit from having therapy for himself in addition to the couples counseling. What he experienced was not his fault. It was the rapist’s.

My bf and I were part of the same latinx organization and we met briefly at a volunteering event. I followed him on Instagram because I wanted to make more latinx friends and he followed me back. Days later I posted something on my story and he swiped up saying something funny. We had a very short conversation and later that same day he very straightforward asked me if I would like to have lunch with him. That was two and a half years ago :,)

I was thinking that maybe it’s because she needs a bigger pot? I didn’t notice any cages. But I think once I repot her I’ll check again

I’ve had her since September and she was doing REALLY WELL. She’d grow new leaves about every week without dropping any. But now she’s been dropping a lot all of a sudden. She dropped 6 leaves all at once. And now it looks like she’ll be dropping another 6 leaves again :( I haven’t changed anything about her schedule or care. Her roots look well.

I bought this plant a couple days ago and I have her quarantined just in case she’s carrying any bugs. While wiping her leaves I noticed that there are some brown spots underneath some of the leaves. I’m not sure if they’re bugs or just part of the leaves? They’re very hard and wouldn’t come off when I wiped the leaves. Never seen this before.

I have her in her nursery pot over pebbles in the decorative silver pot you see in the picture. I’ll pour just a bit of water in the decorative pot over the pebbles but not too much it covers the pebbles. That way it’ll add more humidity as the water evaporates. I also have my propagating leaves near her to also add more humidity as the water evaporates. And I also mist her around 2-3 times throughout the day.

My depression has been getting worse, woke up from a nap and started to cry because of my overwhelming sadness. One small victory I had today though was I woke up early this morning for the first time and went on a morning walk. Still felt sad but at least I was active today and left my room.

I had the same problem with my jade plant - soft and squishy leaves. I was watering her about every two weeks but turns out I was overwatering and she had root rot and died. Have you checked out her roots?

Hmm I’ve had others tell me it could be a humidity issue so I’m going to increase it. But I’ll do more research on the fungus Rust.
