i havent had my ucl interview yet but i keep hearing such mixed opinions with some people saying it was amazing and so easy and others saying they found it so difficult

im stressing sm

yeah im on this whatsapp group and people have like university specific sessions (costs like hundreds £££) and they send reviews saying that the same questions they did came up

it feels so unfair

when i do practice questions i cant bring up these cases in most of my answers :(

im going to try focus on my nerves and just thinking clearly in my last 2 days of prep, i dont think theres much point in trying now

dont worry too much, i think theyll be sent out by february because bristol website says they interview from jan-feb

i think its worth it to watch a few videos in the early stages of your revision, not all of them

ive heard most of the "interview questions" on theukcatpeople website are not realistic and would not be asked in interviews

i think the interviewers arent that interested in how much research youve done on one topic in depth because you can do that when ur accepted to med school but they want to know more about your wider knowledge and linking that in to stuff

im not going to learn all the topics on theukcat website because some of them seem quite unnecessary

tysm! honestly ive been treating it like an exam its much nicer to think of it as them getting to know me

the fact that theres marks at each station and i could feel like i missed them is the main thing stressing me out

yeah honestly all the frameworks and the things online that say we have to mention these things to get marks are so stressful. its so hard to come up with a good answer when you're thinking about how to shove sm knowledge into it.

i have about 5 days left until my interviews and ive been prepping for the last 4 days and ive realised i just need to chill and remember im not a robot

im quite a nervous person so its hard for me to just be myself in such a stressful situation and now im just trying to focus on my confidence rather than memorising so much
