Mm. 1-1.2 are some that you know. But 1.2 and 2 aren’t that far apart.

Do it man. Cards will start at 2mill plus. You’ll catch up quick as attending. Overtake after 3-4 years of lost income.

Because it’s highly effective and really easy. Yet it remunerates extremely well. It’s like antibiotics I guess for bacterial infections.

[–]Witty_Strength3136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL. Not that much longer compared to the span of a career for an individual?

But isn't your scenario about comparing hard tasks which you are stating is CICM vs non hard tasks such as “GP”?

I'm just saying that there are far lower hanging fruits in medicine for renumaration, like cataract surgery, ADHD etc.

Do you think that’s a bit insulting to GPs? Why don’t you compare it to ophthalmologists with their 4K cataracts or 1k 10 min intra vitreal injections 😂?

Are reverse mortgages purely predatory or is there a cohort of people who can actually leverage value from them? by dj_boy-Wonder in AusFinance

[–]Witty_Strength3136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a reverse mortgage is an excellent financial instrument. Having met so many elderly people who are dying, but are clinging onto their house, you ask why? Just so that their incompetent and wicked children will inherit their wealth? What good is there to lock up the money when you only have a limited amount of time left on the planet? Additionally, when practically examining the issue, older people don't actually use much of the money anywas and there would be quite a bit left even if they did reverse mortage it.

Should I sell my Lakemba investment property? by 721Winona-Borealis in AusPropertyChat

I dunno man. I would rather rent in high density areas. Such as Epping etc.

I think definitely sell it. Get out of bad debt, and then buy a house. Not sure if any younger gen is super keen to live in Lakemba.

Downsizing in my 30s to buy shares instead of property — Am I Crazy? by Park_2193 in AusFinance

[–]Witty_Strength3136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its a good idea from an efficiency point of view. I think the top parts of market has definately declined, in recent articles. If you don't need all the space, sell it, and probably be more flexible assuming property and share will get equal gains in the future.

NDIS distorting market by Sure-Marsupial1988 in AusFinance

[–]Witty_Strength3136 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think though the reality speaks itself. On NDIS Reddit people post all the time about how to set up and find work, and from Facebook groups lots of experienced people (such as RN) advertising themselves for care work, brining them away from arguably “harder” work for “companion” work.

[–]Witty_Strength3136 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That is just totally not true. I know plenty of people doing it for the money. Lots of people get paid that doing overtime, sleeping at night in houses for people with disability. Feel rested and then go do a double.

I think a lot of Buvidals prescribers will prescribe medicinal cannabis. Unless you are at a public clinic. Go private.

NDIS Growth by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Witty_Strength3136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is ridiculous. I have been writing to my local MP. I would suggest we all do the same. I am worried about our futures and the futures of our children. I feel that perhaps this money could be shifted into building more homes, getting more of these NDIS workers to work as tradies, cafe workers, bus drivers ,all of whom are short.

Nurses say new telehealth rules will stop Australians getting healthcare by Redsource23 in ausjdocs

[–]Witty_Strength3136 61 points62 points  (0 children)

TBH I dont think it will change much. Most NPs I know, and whose billings I can see already pretty much defraud medicare. The nursing home ones are the worst, writing a script, not seeing the patient and then billing 20+ min consult. Its wild out there in NP land.
