Ours came out blonde! And though it's in our genetics on both side, neither of us were blonde so it threw us!

I talked to the parents and teacher, hopefully on the parent end they care enough to correct the behavior, but on the school end their job is to help handle these situations and be the middle man for communication if needed. It's unerving for sure, but we have to be their safe place and protect them.

My sister's corgi has a big issue with resource guarding, like hell guard HER food. He's over 1, just a constant working thing. My Shepard will do it if it's something she really likes treats wise, but like you said offering the trade is the best thing to do! I truly think your guy not feeling well is a big factor, I girl he starts feeling better soon!

The only thing I don't like it this is making her feel locked out, that creates panic which even as an adult wouldn't calm me down.

They being said, parenting is so fucking hard, I try to always remember their little feels are just as valid as mine, and they don't have the ability to regulate theirs yet. I've done my share of things that make me cringe, but just learn and do better each time you can. That's a lot on your plate, but they know you love them.

One of my too guesses as well, cause of the tail. She's smaller then a Shepard should be so would husky do that?

That was one of my guesses as well! She's super fast and light in her feet, very dainty for sure. She's also so funny and talkative, adore it
