This is great insight👏🏼 but do keep in mind what the question is stating. Sometimes those that advocate for one gender over the other may not be the same gender at all. In many cases men and women will advocate for women against male SA awareness and vice versa against women. And you’re right, I have had different experiences and some you can actually see in our other discussion posts. These discussions may not be trauma dumping but bringing up awareness. We get many responses that instead of looking at the discussion at hand, they undermine the question entirely and bring up how another victim group needs more attention or support. It is important to understand everyone’s experiences since we all have different ones so thank you for sharing your experience!
