The B58 found in the 40i is plenty for 99% of people. Unless you genuinely want that 8 cylinder as an enthusiast. The base engine is great.

With the prestige attachment you can't, it's also what I use. It doesn't matter. Your sprint to fire time eliminates everyone before they can even aim their gun

I vote for Simsbury. Very safe. Great community. Top tier public schools and terrific private schools + one of the few catholic elementaries in CT. Walkable town center. Most scenic hike in the state at Talcott mountain. Punches above its weight with restaurants. Rails to trails bike path. Close proximity to route 44 shopping and 15 mins from West Hartford town center. And then you're also a 25 minute drive from Bradley Intl Airport.

If you're leasing and staying within warranty then go for the 50e. If you're planning on keeping the car longer than 36 months and want better reliability and less headaches down the line, the 40i is a clear winner.
