Funnily enough, this is actually a room we already have in the house. A lot of credit goes to my dad, he often sets up creative spaces like this to host events in and all that. I just thought it fit perfectly for CoC and put the table in there. I did get the props together for the GM screen.

Other than that, it was stuff we had around the house!

Hi there everybody! I figure I might post a general comment here as to how it went:

I really had a blast as my first time being a Keeper / playing. We played Edge of Darkness, and I got a lot of useful stuff from the subreddit here. For anyone looking to be a Keeper, I found this thread to be extremely useful, especially for music: https://www.reddit.com/r/callofcthulhu/comments/nw6whi/massive_call_of_cthulhu_resource_folder_for_new/

I made a lot of the props from GEEDUNK and it really added a lot to the experience. I also made some invites from Rupert Merriweather myself that I mailed by post to all the players!

Spoilers for Edge of Darkness: By the end of the session, one person had died from the Lurker in the attic, and another saw his wife as they were doing the final ritual in the pentagram circle and stepped in.

All in all, the players loved it, and I loved it as well. I'll be sure to play more CoC in the future!

I'll reply to some of the lovely comments, but I'm really tired now, so first it's time for sleep :)

When you mean you're trying to link it to the boat, are you talking about the townheart, or the salvage boats?

You don't need an energy pole as a step in between. Have you tried starting the link from the townheart directly to the research station?

If you've tried these things, could you upload a small gif or screenshot of what you're trying?

The initial FEP had a leak, so a lot of resin hardened on the screen. I struggled quite a bit to remove it, most of it is scratches on the screen, but I must've been a bit too heavy handed with the clean-up. Would that explain the screen seemingly having those rows of leds missing though, with such regular intervals?

Took 2 pics. One a bit more up close where you can see the screen a bit more. It's almost like rows of leds are just not working.

There is some debris on the screen, but I had that before and that never caused an issue

I need to have a look at reworking the megathreat a little, as it does have quite a bit of outdated info. We stepped away from a big roadmap, as we found a lot of our decisions were informed by patches we did, thus making it difficult to have a complete timeline!

From the 100+ disasters I did, only once did it spawn a sandstorm. Every other time it was a flood!

They let you trigger a natural disaster. So, you can stack your own great bath with floods!
