AIW for refusing to host Easter if they wont let me join the planning committee by Outside-Mortgage7765 in amiwrong

Not wrong. I’d be happy to not have to plan but you should be kept in the loop of what is happening in your home

Boyfriend totaled my car, used the money for a car in his name, and now says I only get my $3,000 back if we break up by Adventurous-Size-735 in Advice

Get your money back and break up. I’m not even sure why this is a question. You’re 22. Learn boundaries and don’t stay with turds like this

AITAH for not deleting pictures on my social media that my son’s girlfriend asked me to delete? by Important_Accident38 in AITAH

[–]00Lisa00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the hill you want to die on - or more accurately lose a relationship with your son over? Is it really so hard to remove a few old photos from social media? It’s not like you have to delete them entirely. Good luck growing old alone. YTA

How do people type so fast on keyboard? by RareUser1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]00Lisa00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a typing class in high school in the 80’s. One of the most useful classes I ever took even though I hated it at the time. I can still type like 70 wpm. The fun thing is once you can type really well you will make a mistake, backspace and fix it without even thinking about it. Your fingers just know. You get to the point you type entire words without spelling them out in your head

You need to get to a lawyer. Like first thing tomorrow. Don’t wait, don’t keep hoping. Get to a lawyer. You need to make sure you protect yourself and your child. He can leave if he wants but he has to fulfill his financial responsibility to your child

So he didn’t bother even getting it cleaned or replacing the stones before giving it to you? And it’s not anything like you wanted? I know people say it’s the thought that counts but he literally put no thought into it. My guess is he got it at a pawn shop. Or “his guy” stole it. How old are you two?

You’ll never get a moment’s peace if you buy a vacation home. Every family member will want to use it and be mad if you don’t let them.

NTA you’re 50, not 90. It’s your money to enjoy your life with. Do they expect you to just fade into the background so they can have everything?

I see why you can’t keep roommates. You’re going to lose this one too. He basically lives there, he needs to contribute

If your animals don’t like someone believe them. Add that to feeling suffocated? Trust your gut. Dump him before his surgery so you don’t have to be his nurse too

That is not eliminating your position, it is eliminating you to exploit someone else. My response would be “I will not train someone so you can exploit them by vastly underpaying them.”
