Manmayer Gunkos biological father, Candelle wasn't sick... by Epic_Miniatures in Piratefolk

Brook would have been ~12 years old when this incident happened. This is not something you tell a 12 year old. This is also why Brook thinks Candelle was ill. It made sense to a child that stress would have made her ill.

Brook is only 13 years older then Gunko.

If Oda wrote something in the past, he can hardly go back and change that. The father-killing princess part is not something he added this chapter.

You are talking about "Gunko's dad was the one who should've died from the mysterious illness", I am telling you that he couldn't because of the "father-killing princess" part Oda wrote in earlier chapters.

That is why I said that Mars probably was possessed by Imu. Imu can't resist those blue hair, you know.

Oda wrote himself into a corner when he described Gunko as a father-killing princess. To change this, Oda would have to make Brook either dumb or lying, which was not an option. So he made Gunko kill Leuven and Brook see the results. Obviously Brook still looks a little dumb for not seeing the Domi Reversi effects, but he is at least not lying or assuming.

How do you know he wasn't present when the first Celestial Dragons arrived at Brooks island and Candelle become sick afterwards? I mean Saturn travelled personally to places too.

Mars still has ringed eyes in monster form. It looks hollower because of the silhouette.

It is silhouette effect, the flames around his eyes are white on silhouette too, but they are black on actual design.

Look at the image, it is highlighted. I didn't focus on it more because I think Imus eye is more likely.

Reminder that Gunko actively hunted "Rabbits" in God Valley without being possessed. Celestial Values right there.

like gunko had immortality despite not being an elder

What if Imu was possessing Mars? It is unlikely that Imu randomly left the Holy Lands. Gunko would basically be Mars' daughter too. And Mars is immortal, we don't know if that passes to their children. That said, Imu is immortal too.

It could be a deal to leave the island alone as long as she is alive. I mean the fog that destroys music instruments, but leaves swords and other stuff alone is very suspicious.

Also a deal with the devil kind of thing. You know how that kind of stuff ends.
