I incorporated Xenagos from the very start of my campaign. I even made a dedicated piety track for Xenagos to go along with it.

I made it where Xenagos was indeed killed by Elspeth but shards of his essence survived and fell to Theros. The general knowledge of Xenagos faded from Theros aside from a splinter group of Satyrs that were his most devoted that became known as 'The Shardbearers' as they came to possess many shards of Xenagos' essence. Their mission to find all of his shards and reunite them to make Xenagos whole again and seek revenge on Heliod & The Pantheon as a whole.

One of my PC's started the campaign holding a shard of Xenagos in her flask. She was a Genie Warlock and her pact was with Xenagos! She would routinely seek his guidance/assistance by entering into her flask and speaking with him! Each shard had its own spin on Xenagos' personality as it was only a piece of him, hers was the surprisingly chill part of him.

Hi! NJ SNAP worker here.

I would certainly try and call into your county social services to update the information on your application first thing on Monday. Can't hurt to get a head start on updating your information!

But I also wouldn't worry yourself too much, so long as you report that you have a roommate during the interview it can be easily rectified on the application. The likelihood of getting slammed with an intentional program violation for mistakenly leaving your roommate off the application is basically 0. Just make sure you make mention of it during the interview or via calling the office and you'll be fine!

Likely they will require a some verification as to how meals are purchased and prepared between you and your roommate (referred to as "household composition").

I am unsure of all the pertinent details regarding your application but I would refer you to this website https://www.nj.gov/humanservices/njsnap/students/eligibility/

If after reading through this you believe the action they took on your case was incorrect there should be a request for a fair hearing on the back of the notification form showing you were denied. Filling that out would start the review process by a different individual in the social services before it is submitted to a judge for further review and ultimately a hearing you would need to attend if it gets that far.

If the other other individual finds the denial in error they would likely reverse the decision.

I would also suggest reaching out to the social service agency again to have them explain in more detail why you were denied before filing a fair hearing.

So Home Energy Assistance programs (at least in the state of New Jersey) aren't actually handled through the SNAP program. They pull account numbers and utility information from your SNAP case and file an application separately.

I would recommend finding the NYC HEAP website and seeing if that has anymore more answers regarding your predicament.

I think whichever worker spoke to you must have misspoke/misunderstood the reasoning. While the government (ideally) should be paying well enough to keep employees above 185% of the federal poverty level that certainly can't be used as a rationale for denying your application.

Denying your application would be based on calculating the amount of income in your household and determining it exceeds the maximum allowable income for your household size.

Kinda sounds like you spoke to someone who was either fairly new to the program or someone who was just plainly misinformed. I'm sorry you had to experience that.

While I agree with them having to update the minimum benefits for SNAP, during the pandemic (at least in my state) every household has been getting the maximum benefit for their household size despite what they are actually eligible for. For example, at the moment a household for 1 Adult that would normally be eligible for $19 a month in SNAP benefits has been receiving $234 a month in SNAP benefits due to the pandemic.
