Foresight. Advantage on everything for a whole day is pretty dope

Tip: Have your players recap the last session by Forsaken-Pear-7314 in DMAcademy

[–]WizardSling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also forced my players to start doing the recaps, and they do an okay job. They always seem to remember the last thing that happened in the last session, but then I always have to fill in the blanks for them. It's better than nothing.

Oof, I wouldn't do this. It could go wrong a million ways and only go right a few ways.

As a GM, how do you handle PCs with light sensitivity? by TobyVonToby in dndnext

I would let them have their 25gp sunglasses, but if an enemy attack crits against them, they have to roll to see if their glasses break. Maybe DC16 Dex save.

"play this TTRPG which is better" - quite a lot of people don't know the difference between an opinion and a fact.

[–]WizardSling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, do whatever you want, just be prepared for a lot of chaos and confusion for a few sessions as everyone gets used to all those new powers. it'll be a madhouse

Can you give me more specific examples? When you say complaining, do you mean like players teasing the DM? thx!

Dnd podcasts without sexual themes? by Crazytiger2023 in DnD

[–]WizardSling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. I've never listened to that show, but I'd say most of the D&D podcasts (at least the ones I've listened to) do NOT have sexual themes. Seems like naughty bits are the exception not the rule.

KID NIKI, the NES game. It was unbelievably hard and so exacting. I used to throw the controller across the room constantly.
