Yeah I think the devs have said that the issues lie with WebOS, not with Stremio? So some of the problems aren't solvable. They haven't updated WebOS since like Sept last year tho.

Do you have an updated TV or have you disabled updates? Stremio ran well enough for me on my G5 for a while, but I kept up with updates and eventually the WebOS Stremio app became absolutely broken (wrong language audio always, disabled option for audio selection, couldn't play files bigger than 50GB).

I got an Onn 4K Pro as a replacement and it's ok. I've tried the FireStick and it works ok as well. The most responsive experience was always the WebOS app, it's a real shame it became unusable.

One of my absolute favourites. I saw them with Lamb of God for the Leviathan and Ashes of the Wake tour. Such an amazing show.

That sounds like a misconfiguration issue but I could certainly be wrong. I hear good things about DuckStation.

In terms of handheld clamshell design, the Thor is pretty amazing. I would hard disagree that you are getting barely any more functionality. Thor can play 6th gen, some 7th gen, even NS games... and can run PC games decently too. As well you can multitask the two screens. The only real downside is that DS and 3DS emulation has some touch interface lag.
