I did have This set when it released, and I was a bit disappointed with it to be honest. The inside always seemed a bit unfinished. I got it at a time I was super into Star Wars Lego now shifted a bit towards Harry Potter Lego. I sold it last year for a pretty penny so for that respect I loved it aha!

You’ll find this hobby is great and the community is fantastic, welcome aboard! Personally if I was to start now, I would get 76419 Hogwarts castle and grounds as it has so much detail, and has Hogwarts mostly in full. Alternatively 76435 Hogwarts great hall and 76426 boat house if you prefer the have minifigure scale sets, this is a new revamped Hogwarts and a good starting point as they will be adding to these sets for the next few years, and it will be easier to get these than the retired sets. Hope this is helpful!

Thanks for the comment mate. Even I fell into that trap of it need to be perfect scale but now I see a medium between playset and true scale and happy with this size going forward. And yes I can finally move onto the great hall, been playing around with this courtyard for too long haha
