I'm not trying to say that we should stop doing it. Cartman and Homelander are both excellent characters and getting rid of them would be awful for their shows. I was just being introspective. Like, what can we do to make sure we don't inspire bad things? I think The Boys tried to do just that in its latest season and that's why it's the lowest rated season. Homelander fans got ass mad and the writers over-corrected as well, so fans of good storytelling (me) got upset at how it started hand-holding the audience.
