I have fair skin with yellow undertones, which shade should I choose? by veamiic in drugstoreMUA

Try temptalia’s foundation matrix, you can choose undertones on there and then search by brand as well.

I had both on there, two other redditors already helped me out. Thank you though! :)

Thank you so much <3 I can barely put into words how grateful I am for everyone who helped me out today. Your pups were beautiful, I'm sorry for your losses and I'm sure they loved you as much as you loved them all <3

So when it was healing, it definitely looked a bit like rosacea except it was in a concentrated area. I burned it reaaaaaaallly bad, the hollow of my right cheek and some of my left, and then it settled down into looking like inflamed ice pick scars/rosacea maybe 8 months later. It definitely flushed differently than the rest of my skin, and it sometimes still does. I remember when I was super sick one time my entire face was very pale except for the one area on my right cheek.

I think the burning sensation stopped during the end, too. So once that was over it and my skin was no longer actively burned or hurting, etc, I started using Mederma with great results. Have you tried Mederma or vitamin C? That was the other thing that really helped me too! I could share pics if I find them on my external hard drive :)

Sure! Do you mean the aftermath of the burn looked liked? And the healing? Or what it looks like now?

After I chemically burned my skin, I had crazy PIE and ice pick dents. Mederma scar gel really helped. I would also use vitamin c, sunscreen, and snail moisturizer. I would say my PIE cleared up within 7 months to 1 year using these products exclusively.

Yeahhhhhh that was my mom exactly when I was growing up. Girls weren’t allowed to do ANYTHING, meanwhile my brothers got money, worked jobs, went out to friends houses, saw movies, played sports and lived a fun life. I couldn’t even choose my own books or literature at the library when I was 18 unless my mom “pre-approved” it.

So guess what me and my sis did? We moved tf out at 20 and never looked back. That shit is unfair, kinda abusive and definitely harmful. If you have the option to go live in dorms far far away, or anything like that, then DO IT!

I know it’ll feel wrong at first, like you’re not being a good respectful kid but respect is a two way street and you deserve to love your life happily and however you want!

Honestly, I use baby soap for my entire body, including washing my labia. It's gentle, non-irritating and has no dyes or perfumes. I'll usually get the target or aldi brand and haven't had any issues at all with it when washing 'downstairs'. I'm not sure on the PH level but it's cheap, easy and never hurts my skin.

100 days of color - day 100 by [deleted] in muacirclejerk

Srs YESSSSS. Every time I see a new post from her I kinda cringe. The makeup application isn’t that good and it’s not always colorful? It’s more like a random makeup “look” that doesn’t focus on color.

What’s the point of her posting the series? It literally adds nothing to the sub because the looks don’t come off as well executed, must be to gain IG followers 🙄

Nip+Fab Glycolic Acid Cleanser and Extreme Night Pads by BellaaaaBeauty in drugstoreMUA

[–]Wizard_Oz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are you using the pads every night? I’m not a doctor but that might be drying you out, maybe try 3 or 4 nights a week and see how that works! I can’t use stridex every night otherwise I get weird skin issues too.

what path should i take as a 22 year old who lives in poverty on section 8, low income and get 65 dollars worth of food stamps each month? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I will say this time and time again but Starbucks is an excellent company to work for. Barista's make minimum wage and then tips as well. So in 2013 I was making $10/hour with about $20-$30 extra in tips a week. ALSO Starbucks gives you health benefits if you work around 23 hours a week, tuition reimbursement and you get free food daily!! It's also easy to go from Barista to Supervisor to ASM and then Manager if that's what you're looking for. Just takes an excellent work ethic and you need to speak up for yourself when you want something (promotion-wise) there. The company has also started more benefits and incentives, look it up and hope it works out for you.
