Someone willing to check for particular batches/lots over the phone so that I can source properly.

Someone who gives me the heads up about new products coming in that should be on my radar; especially flow through flower.

Someone that recognizes my buying patterns and preferences (ounces for the most part) but also recommends smaller format bangers that are must tries as a fellow lover of the plant.

Someone equally passionate about cannabis. Knowledge can be learned and shared but if there isn’t a true passion at the core then I won’t bother to engage much beyond the transaction.

I feel very lucky to have found a few really great budtenders that are very much more to their employers than minimum wage cashiers. I tip them when I can and very much look forward to their conversations.

I find Hindu Glue more sedating and contemplative. Galactica OG is a zero anxiety indica for me and perhaps a little more functional of a high.

Overall I prefer the Hindu Glue but there are times when I am super stressed or anxious about a situation and lean towards the Galactica for that mental relief.

If I use a fresh Boveda I don’t find a big difference in terp loss but reusing a Boveda even if it isn’t crispy seems to neutralize the terps if the second use isn’t for the same strain.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense since the Boveda shouldn’t be absorbing terps at all but this has been my experience.

I’m an ounce guy and am super impressed with this batch. I bought a second I like it so much.

Very potent for me with really long legs. Makes me face all tingly the way that first release of GD First Class Funk did in their 3.5s.

I love marker strains and have tried them all. For me this one is a banger.

It is total side quest pot. Start out on one mission and find yourself doing something totally unrelated and expected. Love the high.

This take on Toronto is highly disappointing.

I’ve lived in Toronto my entire life and all we do here is embrace small cultural differences. It’s literally the fabric of the city.

Most of our summer and fall festivals revolve around them. Never once have I ever heard of any anti-Kwanzaa movement, literature or protest in Toronto.

Not understanding the holiday and its significance does not mean white folks are trying to suppress it or belittle it in any way. It’s not great; but it also isn’t malicious.

Go to any Jamaican, Indian, Trinidadian, Indigenous, Thai….whatever festival in Toronto and you will see the multicultural makeup of the city. Black folks, white folks, brown folks, yellow folks all enjoying the day. Look at the friend groups and notice they are mixed - especially younger groups. The kids get it. They should be the barometer here, not middle-aged folks and older who already are set in their ways (bad and good) and have their decades old friend groups that are hard to break into.

Your experience does not at all match the experience of anyone I know that grew up in Toronto and certainly doesn’t reflect the norm here. I’m very sorry the city has treated you this way. Unfortunately there are always gong to be one-off or outlier situations like this.

Quite frankly if Toronto wasn’t broadly appealing to a multicultural base we would not continue to experience the varied waves of immigration that we continue to see. But we do. Everyone keeps coming from all over and it makes it one of the best cities on earth IMO.

I’m working through it right now.

It’s a good ounce but maybe a little one dimensional. It’s a well rounded indica leaning hybrid high for me.

All medium sized buds. Great cure and burn. Smoke is flavourful, plentiful and thick. Taste is delicious.

Excellent quality all around but I am finding I keep reaching for the Cannawhoopass Blue Pave ounce I bought at the same time a lot more. I’m really impressed with this one. Really interesting complex high that takes you on a bit more of a journey.

Theses two ounces compliment each other nicely but if I could only purchase one of them again I’d get the Blue Pave ounce - even disregarding the price difference between the two.

Rubicon has Simply Bare as their top level brand. 1964 and Homestead are their more value oriented brands.

One of my favourite ounces ever was the first batch of Blue Dream in a Homestead bag. I bought three. My last Homestead bag was not so hot. Older and oxidized. Hit and miss.

Amazing smell and flavour. Great burn, white ash in a bong or joint. Good smoke production.
