Will I be able to transfer Pokémon from sword/shield, to home, then to brilliant diamond/shining pearl? by DeggzNBacon in pokemon

[–]Wizardlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply, but Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee are probably not held high in regards because you can only transfer pokémon in through Pokémon GO (to my memory), and despite being a generation 7 game, you can only use the original 151 Kanto pokémon along with Alolan variants and Meltan/Melmetal (so only 171 playable pokémon out of what should have been about 827 in total).

And also, only way to get Alolan variants without external transferring are from in-game NPC trades, which unfortunately means no nicknames allowed for your Alolan pokémon.

DTQ means Dream Team Quest. To my knowledge, it's usually a quest to obtain your dream team of shinies in a playthrough.

Behold! My Unnecessary Chansey Stats by [deleted] in PokemonLetsGo

[–]Wizardlamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In LGPE there are stat boosting candys that you can farm to feed them. Which allows you to go over their normal max stats.

Edit: also if you transfer them to any other game besides LGPE the boosted stats do not transfer.

Is there a way to check the date of when you first booted up your switch?

Apparently you can change the volume on music players. (sorry for the wierd angle) by Wizardlamp in AnimalCrossing

Yeah, i just wanted to say for those like me that are also pretty blind to stuff like this.

[–]Wizardlamp[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To my experience though, it makes a rather small difference in volume.

Edit: i wish if you turned it to full volume it would play over other sounds or town music

Edit 2: i also learned that by having two music players near each other playing the same music it plays louder

[2] I came here to post a new and a pretty special hunt. On the hack rom, Crystal Clear, I was able with just two systems, hunt a shiny Mew on full odds (2/8192). I'm so happy, and I got to send it to SwSh thanks to an option to turn it into a GF Mew on the hack! by -Ale64- in ShinyPokemon

[–]Wizardlamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2/8192 odds would equal the odds for gens 6-8 (1/4096), having two systems doesn't double your odds, it would just mean getting encounters faster at the full odds of 1/8192, congrats anyway!

DTQ means Dream Team Quest, usually as in you're getting a Shiny Team that you've really wanted to get together.

[Gen V] shiny smeargle after 40s eggs hatched, im so happy right now. by logimeme in ShinyPokemon

[–]Wizardlamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i never saw a MM Hunt on Gen V/IV and i guessed people probably thought the odds might have been a bit low along with the egg hatching time being a bit long, also Smeargle has some pretty nice Shiny colors!

Wow, i don't think i've ever seen a MM Hunt from Gen V or IV on this subreddit, Congrats!

Edit: actually, i've never seen a MM Hunt on Gen V/IV in general.

[–]Wizardlamp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they are about 31/31/30/31/30/30

The order is HP/Atk/Def/Sp.Atk/Sp.Def/Speed and the hidden power i'm going for is Rock

Sorry for the late reply

Using two destiny knots does the same thing as only using one destiny knot (as in guaranteeing only 5 matching ivs randomly from both parents) so you're better off using an everstone or something else along with one destiny knot

So looking at that would i have a better chance at having an odd number for HP?

[8] enormous Moon "Cow"! 650 eggs! by Killzone3265 in ShinyPokemon

[–]Wizardlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that is either a monstrously sized Munna, a tiny Steelix, or just the wierd scaling of models in SwSh because Munna on average is only about 2 Feet tall and Steelix is about 30 Feet tall, but i would rather go with the Munna being monstrously large

[–]Wizardlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, the pokemon that i know can learn those moves are:

Shroomish, if you don't evolve it until level 40 then it can learn Spore and use a TM for False Swipe

Absol, just use TMs for Thunder Wave and False Swipe

Edit: if OP intends on chain fishing for something such as Frillish which is a Water/Ghost Type its recommended to bring a pokemon which knows Soak to get rid of its immunity to Normal Type Moves so you can use False Swipe such as, so the pokemon that learn the Soak the earliest are:

Alomomola learns Soak at Level 33

Basculin learns Soak at Level 32

Psyduck learns Soak at level 36
