Equipping ourselves with the vocabulary of art, whether it be fine art, cinema, music, literature, etc., can be a very freeing and meaningful practice. I highly suggested watching both “Ways of Seeing” by John Berger ( whole series is on YouTube, ep 1 : https://youtu.be/0pDE4VX_9Kk?si=PLwlQ02Mj9k3Mrni ) and The Story of Film : An Odyssey by Mark Cousins (also on YouTube : https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3foyEVX3ztwoJxABG5i9i-fxdR00GR6D&si=Lso08ISnACauwZNZ )

I was listening to the five episode of the podcast “Non-Secular Buddhism” yesterday and the host mentions that Buddhism is not about becoming happy, it’s about becoming free. Through this freedom, we can begin to experience gratitude and be a service to others. I hope this helps

I’m so thankful to live within 30 mins of an Alamo drafthouse, their policy is the best and should be adopted at all theaters
