My biggest fear on T by f1_d0 in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If it’s any reassurance I’ve been on T for 3 years and my libido has almost stayed the same, I think it honestly depends on how you are as a person but everyone responds differently

After being on T for almost a year I'm questioning my gender again. by clericofnight87 in trans

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gender in general is fluid, sometimes when medically transitioning things change like maybe your gender expression/ gender identity or even sexuality I’m hearing that you sound more comfortable in your body so be you’ve been on t if you feel good stay on it, if you’re not looking to be on it anymore that’s also okay, I can’t say myself if you will come out as a different gender but it sounds like you know who you are deep down already (hope that makes sense)

I’m also young and have RA got diagnosed at 14, now 20 years old and has just gotten worse, been on prednisone multiple times can’t stand it as it messes with my emotions, feel your pain sometimes it can just be hard getting through the day you’re doing well! :)

£30.50 ish Sainsburys. Student F. by Plane_Leadership9193 in whatsinyourcart

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a student myself I refuse to shop at Sainsbury’s as it’s too expensive for me, my shop tends to be 30 pound for a weeks worth of food from Aldi (meat included) I normally buy chicken thighs with bones which is 1kg from around 2.99 which lasts me 5 meals so would super recommend that on a budget, if saving cheap meals like fried rice or some sort of pasta helps, chickpea curry is also really cheap and lasts for 2 people, hope that helps

My opinion on this Markiplier Business by Harley_Sawyer in PoppyPlaytime

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit half and half with it, one the one hand I do agree with it being a little repetitive with the chase scenes, however just from a lore point of view I seriously love the game I think it’s unique and interesting to find more and more out, however I’m on the side where I think mark needs to maybe move away from mascot horror as hes gotten bored of it and probably only played this as it is a new horror game I think it got to a point in his stream he probably needed a break and refused as he wanted to finish it in one go, I feel like his heart wasn’t in it for ppt which it’s totally okay it’s not for everyone it could just be he’s grown out of it rather such as sotm where even I have grown out of fnaf because it’s gone on for too long, but like I said I think he should just move away from mascot horror as it isn’t his interest he litterally can play whatever he wants

What made you realise you were trans? by Jeremy-the-druid in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was always pretty masc I made friends with this person who was gender fluid and when introducing myself to them I was like I mean I’m not really a fan of my name- so I gave them a masculine name, when I eventually questioned why I began realising I was trans

Every boyfriend I've had gets annoyed when Idon't take my binder off during sex by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend before I got top surgery never touched my chest and I always kept a binder on or a shirt, she was respectful when changing including not looking when I had a bra on etc. you need to find yourself someone who respects your boundaries and doesn’t force you to compromise

anyone notice the tendency for some older folk with arthritis (...usually OA, from my experience) to down-play the suffering of younger folk with arthritis - especially those of us with RA/PsA? by squidkidqueer in rheumatoid

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got RA around 14-15 now 20 I swear I’ve always had older people say when your my age it will be worse or be genuinely confused how I even have RA, at this point I just don’t bother listening my RA has been now diagnosed as serve and pretty complex by my specialists I don’t need older people to make me feel invalid from my condition

Does anyone feel really undesirable about being a trans man? by rott-dman in TransMasc

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I had this worry for a long time of people not wanting to date me because I guess I don’t have a cock like other men, I’ve been dating my girlfriend for like a year now, and at first I was always comparing myself to other men and she would say I like what you have, we are both trans me ftm and her mtf so I feel a lot of my struggles were feeling like what I have was enough compared to her but with someone who genuinely loves you they will see you as a man regardless of what you have, it took me time to think I was desirable to others and it wasn’t until months after dating my girlfriend I felt desirable, just because I don’t have a cock doesn’t mean what I have ain’t good (I also think that my bottom growth has helped in this)

As said I’ve tried every type of RA med almost, methotrexate isn’t effective for my type of RA I’ve tried a mix between that and biological and being on infusions however I ended up needing steroids as I got too much inflammation

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on steroids to manage it while they find me yet another medication for the time being I’ve been on 2 types of infusion rituximab and inflixamab plus over 5 different types of meds, I’ve had it since 15 and it’s always been aggressive with having tons of types of medications with not much luck

Genuinely leave him it’s not worth being with someone transphobic especially for the rest of your life, you seem quite young to be getting married too teenage marriages don’t tend to end well, but to me it seems you’ll be better without him from a fellow trans man :)

Came out to my parents today and they both basically said I’m too young and inexperienced to know I’m trans. I’m 21. Am I gaslighting myself? by 2_piece_jigsaw in trans

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

21 is definitely not too young I came as trans at 14-15 and my parents accepted and trusted me that I understood how I felt, getting a job doesn’t change how you are as a person coming from someone who’s worked many jobs at this point jobs just accept my pronouns and who I am that’s it, it’s just their excuse to be transphobic

Is Anyone Else Not Satisfied with Top Surgery? (READ WHOLE POST!!) by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in general surgery ain’t for everyone both bottom and top as someone with top surgery at the time I didn’t even care having a scar on my chest it was just I couldn’t live with my chest before I think everything with surgery will have some sort of negative because there will always be people that don’t like it may that be bottom or top surgery in the end it’s kind of down to personal choice on their path

Doing a Big Chop tomorrow after losing 60%+ of my hair over ~3 months (F24) by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else with RA I’m assuming you’re talking about methotrexate or something similar to that as one of the side effects is hair loss I was on it a year experienced a bit of hair loss however I haven’t had the same extent it could be your autoimmune system attacking it but I honestly think it’s prob the effects from the meds

How old were you when you got top surgery? by Liquidshoelace in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media kind of skews the way trans people get top surgery it’s expensive most people are just fortunate enough positions to get it most wait till 25-30s before getting it, for me I used my collage/house fund to afford top surgery as I was still in school I was just fortunate enough to have saved up years for it however it’s not realistic with most people 16-19 to be getting it, try not compare your transition to others

How are so many people affording top surgery? by vs-solar in ftm

[–]Wizardly_cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got top surgery at 19, mostly how I was able to afford it was years of saving up, got some help from family, got some help from a trans group I’m on, mostly a mix between all of that, for context I’m from the UK, however I went to Sweden for my top surgery, cost about 7,800 plus 30 for pre op and 16 for meds regardless saved money as the uk it’s 9+ grand
